In virtually all organizations, HR teams are putting out fires and driving organizational performance despite comprising a tiny proportion of the overall organization. In no other role can individuals add so much value to their overall organization, with HR’s impact felt in every department.

Quality of hire, training and development, employee retention, dispute resolution, and workforce planning are all the primary drivers of performance in the workplace and primarily fall under the purview of HR.

Knowing that HR has such a huge scope to add value makes me feel incredibly proud to work in this area and fuels my passion for HR every day.

Human resources is the soul of the company. It is their job to ensure the company is united and cohesive so the organization can meet its goals. They are charged with bringing on employees who can work well with others by using diversity and inclusion hiring techniques.

Projects will always have a timeline, and those timelines cannot be met if the team does not perform as one unit. It should be their goal to ensure new employees are selected who will live up to the company’s mission and vision statement and drive the company to success. The skill of human resource staff is important because they are the blood flow of the company. They feed the heartbeat of the company, and their skills are invaluable.
