Mustard: A Variety of Tastes

As a German living in America, I’ve noticed that America doesn’t have a robust mustard culture in the way that Germany does. This is truly a shame. There are so many great varieties and styles of mustard. There’s no need to limit oneself to boring yellow mustard and maybe some Dijon.

There is a whole world of wonderful mustards: tangy, sweet, stone ground, and so many more. It’s far and away the most versatile condiment. More people ought to be as jazzed about mustard as I am.

Gardening: A Connection to Nature

AL Tran
A thing that I am passionate about is gardening. I love gardening because it connects me with nature and provides a sense of fulfillment and tranquility. Gardening allows me to engage closely with aspects of nature and witness the growth of plants, from seeds to flourishing beings. It’s a creative passion that allows me to design and create beautiful outdoor spaces.

It also promotes sustainability and environmental awareness as I cultivate organic practices and support local ecosystems. It’s a totally clean and green practice and is also environmentally friendly. Nothing is better today compared to planting trees and our ecosystem desperately needs to promote this trend.

Moreover, the process of tending to plants, getting my hands dirty, and witnessing the beauty of nature’s cycles brings me joy and a deep appreciation for the natural world. So that’s why I am passionate about gardening.

The Power of Touch: Embracing a Positive Aspect

The world we live in seems to have a glorification of negative touch. Many of our television shows, movies, and social streams too often represent touch negatively with violence—sexually, mentally, verbally, and physically.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I love all things loving, peaceful, and soothing, and appreciate the beauty of touch and its power to ignite emotion, release, and calm. In my profession, I have witnessed the power of touch and how it has given many people I have worked with the freedom to release their heaviness.

Touch is beautiful and evokes emotions, and you never know what someone is dealing with until they receive such a powerful connection. Touch is multifaceted. It can warm someone mentally, verbally, emotionally, and physically. I love the ability to be able to share such an amazing tool and positively ignite the power of touch simply with a hug, hand on the shoulder, smile, or a kind word. What a way to warm the heart of another!

Diverse Passions: Travel, AI, and Wellness

There are quite a lot of things that I am passionate about. Although I am interested in many topics, I am most passionate about traveling. I get to meet and engage with new individuals from all walks of life every day, which is such a joy.

My viewpoints have been enlarged by travel, which has also enhanced my ability to collaborate and communicate. I can effortlessly blend in with my coworkers and colleagues, regardless of their socioeconomic status, which is necessary to succeed in this profession.

I’m also really interested in the future of artificial intelligence and where it will lead. I get sucked into books and films that explore how artificial intelligence will improve society over the next 50 years. I’m fascinated by the promise of artificial intelligence, yet many people are terrified of what it can do.

I have a strong passion for health and wellness. I adore seeing people challenge themselves and inspire others to learn more about their health and well-being.

Changing the World: Finding Strength and Meaning

I am passionate about changing the world because it gives me a reason to keep living, no matter what challenges life throws at me. When I focus on helping others and making a positive impact, my own problems feel smaller. Even if I face personal losses or setbacks, my dream of creating change keeps me going. It’s a source of strength and purpose.

Life can be tough, with things not always going as planned, like divorce, the loss of loved ones, or even physical injuries. But when my mission is about making a difference beyond myself, I always find a reason to keep living and pushing forward.

Forensic Sciences: Comfort in Justice

I’m passionate about forensic sciences. It started when I was a teenager and hasn’t stopped ever since. I watch documentaries, read true crime, and participate in various conferences. To deepen my knowledge, I even completed postgraduate studies in evidence law. Although it has no practical application to my professional life, I was happy to explore this discipline and meet forensic practitioners.

As an idealist, I believe that evil must always be punished. Thanks to the fast-growing field of forensic sciences, it becomes clear that there is no perfect crime. I find tracking new methods of detecting the perpetrators of crime both fascinating and comforting.
