Psychology is a great field to major in but your odds of becoming a clinical psychologist aren’t the best, so my advice would be to think about which aspects of psychology energize you the most and think about how to apply those to other fields.
There are numerous other fields out there where a knowledge of psychology is a tremendous asset, a fact that is often overlooked by those majoring in the topic, so if you don’t go into a clinical environment you shouldn’t be discouraged.
I’d recommend setting up some time to speak with your program advisor to explore your options, as a psychology degree gives you a very broad range of options after you graduate if you know what you’re doing in advance.
