Industry meet-ups are a great way to do this, even if you don’t already have personal connections. As an entrepreneur in the tech and SEO spaces, this means that I can take a look at Facebook, Meetup, or a few other platforms to see what events are happening in my sphere in my city.

I’ve found there is basically at least one a month—from informal coffee chats to do some casual networking, to more business-specific mixers that are more formal and a good way to push your business forward if you come prepared.
