Military Experience Fuels My Passion
My interest in the military has stemmed from serving myself and knowing first-hand the challenges and honors of that career. There’s something extraordinarily fulfilling about working in a team with trust, accountability and meaning at the heart of everything you do. My military experience pushed me to the edge and gave me insight on perseverance, leadership and friendship. These experiences shaped me and left me with an urge to continue serving the military community in meaningful ways, beyond active duty.
What really fuels this passion is to make life simpler for people who live under the burden of responsibility each day. I’ve experienced the stress leadership creates, running a group, making microsecond decisions, making the mission happen and looking after your team. That’s why I’ve spent years creating tools and solutions that allow leaders to regain their time and get back to what’s most important. For me, it’s personal.

Connecting Small Businesses With Military Needs
I’m passionate about helping our military maintain its technological edge through better collaboration with small businesses. Last year, I worked with a veteran-owned company that developed an innovative communications system, and seeing their solution get adopted by the Air Force was incredibly fulfilling. What really drives me is knowing that when we connect innovative small businesses with military needs, we’re not just growing companies—we’re giving our service members better tools to stay safe and complete their missions.

Witnessing Leadership and Teamwork Skills
My passion for the military stems from witnessing the incredible leadership and teamwork skills that service members develop. I recently coached a group of transitioning veterans, and seeing them apply their military discipline and adaptability to civilian roles showed me how valuable these skills are. What amazes me most is how military training creates such strong bonds and trust between people from completely different backgrounds—something I try to recreate in my corporate team building work.

Admiring Military Discipline and Resilience
While not from a military background, I deeply admire its discipline, resilience, and commitment to service-values we instill at Edumentors. Many of our tutors work with students aspiring to military academies, where these traits are essential. Military families, who often move frequently, value the stability our tutoring provides, helping their children stay academically grounded. Supporting these students reinforces my belief in the power of structure and perseverance. The military’s principles inspire us to foster purpose-driven growth.
