I have always had a passion for helping people, long before I got into real estate. I have always been driven to succeed in all aspects of my life and work. My motivation and work ethic are huge reasons why I have fallen in love with real estate. Meeting people of all different ethnic backgrounds and hearing their stories is a major factor in why I keep doing this.
When I’m at the closing table, seeing a first-time homebuyer get a house when they thought they never could, and seeing that smile, it’s something that lasts forever! The experience of seeing my business grow and knowing that people are seeing their dreams come true with my guidance gives me a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.
I’ve seen both lows and highs in my career, but every day, I keep pushing because I have so much more to give and I’m looking forward to what the near future holds.

I am drawn to real estate for various reasons. I am attracted to the potential for financial gains through property investments, and I appreciate the tangible nature of real estate assets. Additionally, the ability to influence and shape communities through property development can be a strong motivator for me. But working side by side with buyers is the major reason. It’s the satisfaction of seeing them find their dream homes.
Ultimately, passion for real estate often stems from a combination of financial opportunity, a love for architecture and design, the desire to make a positive impact on the built environment, and seeing people find their dream homes and making it possible for them.

Creating Community Connections Through Homes
We all have a home, whether it’s a house, a city, a town, or a country. We all need a sense of home, where we feel safe, welcomed, and comfortable. Having a secure sense of home allows people to flourish and thrive, to have their basic needs met first, so they can go beyond and do good elsewhere.
In the United States, far too often, a house is just a house. It’s a place to sleep, to seclude, to get away from others. I’m trying to turn that concept on its head. As Seattle’s car-lite realtor, I’m working to change this.
Walking, biking, and taking transit connects people to their community deeply and intimately. By getting out of the car, people meet their neighbors, appreciate the architecture and art, and notice little nuances that bring life to the neighborhood. My passion is to help people find a home that allows them to walk more places more often and grow closer to their community. Through community relationships, people will turn their house into a home.
Contributing to Communities and Educating Clients
The satisfaction I derive from contributing to communities fuels my passion for real estate and providing individuals with their dream homes. I find joy in witnessing the happiness on clients’ faces when they close deals and in nurturing lasting relationships with them. As my mentor once said, “Sometimes you are the pigeon, and sometimes you are the statue.” The point being that real estate has peaks and valleys, and that is what I love about it. You have to work hard and be persistent to achieve greatness in this industry. “If you want to fly with the eagles, they do not hang out with the turkeys.” Surround yourself with successful people and do as they do, and the rewards will come. Another great quote is by NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, “Some days I may lose, and some days I may win, but I will never be defeated.” Get up every morning, do your job, and success will follow.

A “day at the office” in real estate isn’t really a day at the office. The variety of opportunities I will experience every day and the freedom that comes with it are two of the most fascinating components of my real estate career. In my role as a real estate professional, I won’t be restricted to the standard 9–5 weekday. Rather, I will be empowered to plan my time according to what works best for myself, my clients, and my customers.
My development as a real estate agent is frequently an outcome of the time I spend looking for, creating, and utilizing chances. I’ll discover that the amount of work I’m willing to put in determines how much money I can make, not a salary ceiling or an hourly wage.

I’m passionate about real estate, especially when working with distressed sellers, as I often do in the “We Buy Houses” industry. I get to solve people’s problems at a greater level than anyone else. Every day, sellers reach out to my company after finding our website online. They come from many different backgrounds; some are looking for a quick closing, others for top-dollar pricing. I’m able to help all of them because I have so many options.
For some sellers, we’re able to provide a cash offer and a fast closing, and we’re able to come to an agreement on price. For others, I’m simply able to refer them to a real estate agent to help them out instead. I’m passionate about this industry because I’m able to make a massive impact on these people’s lives due to the fact that I can provide so many different solutions.
Sharing Real Estate Knowledge and Experiences
Driven by ambition and a desire to take control of my financial future, I took a leap of faith and purchased my first rental property at the age of 16. This initial success fueled my determination to learn more and expand my portfolio. Throughout high school and college, I continued acquiring properties, leveraging my real-estate license to navigate the industry confidently.
My thirst for knowledge in real estate only grew stronger over time. It led me to pursue a commercial real-estate appraiser license, a four-year endeavor that deepened my understanding of the market and valuation principles. With my expertise and experience, I was involved in over $4 billion of real-estate transactions over a decade, gaining a comprehensive industry perspective.
Sharing my knowledge and experiences with others became a natural extension of my passion. Teaching and guiding individuals on their real-estate journeys brings me joy and allows me to impact their lives positively.
