From Economics to Personalized Marketing
I had a non-traditional path that led me to marketing—through economics. Economics, on a micro-scale, is the psychology of small consumer groups and ultimately what drives them in their financial decision-making. Being intentional with marketing campaigns on what influences an individual to purchase a product or service is what defines success and drives revenue in today’s world. Now, more than ever, personalization in marketing efforts is expected among consumers whether it be through social media, email marketing, or targeted ads.
This is what makes marketing fun! The ever-changing landscape of understanding what grabs your targeted customers’ attention, drives them to your site to learn more, and ultimately to purchase your product or service.

In the vast, swirling landscape of messages, images, and ideas, there’s a particular hum, a unique rhythm, that draws me into the world of marketing. It’s not so much about a burning passion that consumes, but rather a certain adeptness, an uncanny ability to understand, to join dots that seem disparate to others. For many, marketing is about pushing products, cultivating impressions, or curating an image. For me, it’s a puzzle, an intricate dance of ideas and impressions.
Being neurodivergent isn’t a label I wear like a badge, but it’s a lens through which I see the world, brightly colored and differently shaded. It means I don’t just see a product or a brand; I see the undercurrents, the little threads of narrative and emotion that connect them to people, to their aspirations, their fears, their dreams. I see patterns where others see chaos. I hear harmonies where others hear noise.
