Content Marketing

Individuals with degrees in Journalism have the skills to become effective content marketers. Journalism is an incredibly competitive industry. There are few well-paid roles for journalists in the current market. Content marketing is a potentially lucrative career that journalism majors are well suited for.

Writing skills and the capacity to be a good storyteller are the cornerstones of being a journalist.

These are some of the foundational concepts taught in many journalism programs. Content marketers also have to be good writers and storytellers. Crafting effective content requires the marketer to engage the consumer in a narrative that calls them to action. It is difficult to create effective marketing content without an aptitude for writing and storytelling.

This is why journalism majors have the skills to become good content marketers.
