This is an interview with Spiros Skolarikis, Founder and CEO of Comidor.
Where were you at 22, and how did you get to where you are today?
Doing many things right and even more things wrong.
Thanks for sharing! When did you really decide to “take ownership” of your career? What inspired you to pursue your passion?
It was not a decision at a certain time. It was rather a continuous impulse or urge, enhanced by a few random events.
All good career stories include some aspect of “risk.” Was there a moment in your career where you felt that you were risking something, but looking back on it now, that move made all the difference?
There have been many times, I felt that I was risking too much. Looking back on that now, I feel that I had to take more risks.
Where do you find significance in your work? What gives you the most satisfaction?
Any time that I find a possible solution to a problem. The awareness of the fact that I become better for my own good and for the good of others.
How do you measure success in your role? How do you know you’re succeeding?
It’s very difficult to define success. As long as I make things happen which give me pleasure and keep myself motivated for the next challenge.
If you could offer your 22-year old self one piece of advice, what would you say?
Try more consistently and never be afraid of failure.
