Educate Small Business Owners
In 1995, when the internet was in its infancy, I was doing computer graphic design. As a creative, I enjoyed helping small businesses promote their goods and services.
Upon discovering the World Wide Web (WWW), I said, “I can do that!” and learned how to create websites. I also had to educate small business owners on the power and potential of the internet.
Fast forward almost 30 years, and my passion is still educating, training, and coaching small business owners on how to use digital online media to cost-effectively promote their businesses.
I remember teaching a live class once, and a gal in the front row all of a sudden had this “aha” moment look on her face.
I looked at her, and she said, “I just got it! I see how it works. Thank you!”
That’s why I do what I do.

Connect Beyond Healthcare Settings
Online media has given me a unique way to connect with people outside of the typical healthcare setting. I’ve used platforms like YouTube and Instagram to make complicated medical information easier to understand. When I first launched a series on heart health, I noticed people began sharing their own stories and asking follow-up questions in the comments.
