Project Manager
The INTJ personality type takes great pleasure in seeing their work outcomes, hence making project management the best career option. INTJs are experts at planning and overseeing the more subtle details needed to acquire a more prominent goal as individuals who take a straight-thinking view of the more substantial picture.
Project management lets them plan and strategize budget appropriately whilst adopting ingenious problem-solving techniques to rummage and implement maximized effectiveness. Although project managers operate throughout numerous industry sectors, it’s one of the few INTJ careers offering significant potential for job diversification.

Information Technology
As an INTJ personality type, I find that working behind the scenes is the best way for me to thrive in my career and further the goals of an organization. Most information technology jobs allow you to work without tremendous contact with other employees within a business. You can work on your process or project and have the time needed to analyze any complex problems. Information technology is an excellent career option for independent thinkers because they are often looked to for creative solutions to complex problems.

Art Restorer and Graphic Designer
INTJ ‘s preference for solo work and objective information make them great in jobs like art restorer and graphic designer. It’s a myth that INTJ’s will inherently work better math based careers, such as accounting and engineering. It’s much more important for the INTJ to have autonomy in their position, which many art careers allow for. They also need to be able to flex their intuitive muscles. Any job that is primarily motivated by creation fits the bill here.

Market Research Analyst
As INTJ personality types are quite analytical, I would say that becoming a market research analyst is an ideal career to pursue. Analysts find and study data on consumers and competitors. They follow the market to decipher potential sales of a product or service, and help companies understand what consumers want. Finally, market research is an ever-evolving field, which is perfect for INTJs, who are traditionally adaptable.

Actuarial Science
If you’re an introvert who is analytical, you can’t do much better than becoming an actuary – a profession that has a median annual income close to $100,000. An actuary is an under-the-radar worker who plays a crucial role in managing risk. That’s why insurance companies rely on them so heavily. In spite of the importance of the role, it’s not a high-stress job. You’re away from the fray as an actuary. To become an actuary, you have to pass a very difficult test, but INTJ personality types do not shy away from such a challenge. They embrace it. Being an actuary is an ideal job for someone of that personality type.

Accounting
Accounting is a perfect career for INTJs because they are naturals at using their structured reasoning to solve unique problems. They tend to do well in the STEM fields; their math skills will help them go far working as an accountant. Finally, accounting is a great option for INTJs because the nature of the job involves intellectual challenges on a daily basis.

Architect
An architect. INTJ personality types (introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging) would be excellent architects because they are incredibly good at seeing and understanding how something is done and how one thing leads to the next and then executing that. Because INTJ personalities are thinkers, planners, and doers, they’d make excellent architects, if that’s something that interests them.
Staci Brinkman, Sips by
Research Scientist
One career option for INTJ personality types is to become a research scientist. INTJs are naturally curious and love to learn, so they would enjoy conducting research in a lab and discovering new information about the world. They are also good at analyzing data and coming up with logical solutions, making them well-suited for scientific research.
