This is an interview with Gregory Drambour, Spiritual Retreat Owner at Sedona Sacred Journeys, LLC.
Where were you at 22, and how did you get to where you are today?
I was just starting the spiritual journey at 22. How I got where I am is being very lucky with attracting powerful mentors. And then doing my best to listen to them!
When did you really decide to “take ownership” of your career? What inspired you to pursue your passion?
There have been many of what I call “crossroad” moments when I took ownership. The one that stands out is when I was healed of stage 4 throat cancer after a 4 year journey. That really leapt me forward in my work with clients struggling with illnesses of all kinds.
All good career stories include some aspect of “risk.” Was there a moment in your career where you felt that you were risking something, but looking back on it now, that move made all the difference?
Spending the money to hire a book proposal consultant for my second and my most popular book, “The Shaman & His Daughter.” His mentoring really paid off and got me an agent.
Where do you find significance in your work? What gives you the most satisfaction?
Seeing clients leapt forward on their journey and find some peace of mind. When they get a deeper understanding that their thoughts create how they experience their world moment to moment.
How do you measure success in your role? How do you know you’re succeeding?
Are you enjoying what you’re doing!
If you could offer your 22-year old self one piece of advice, what would you say?
Write every day!
