A call for help…we need interviews!

June 6, 2007 | by brett | Permalink

As you know, this summer we are traveling 14,000 miles in 90 days to interview 200 professionals about their career path that led them to fulfilling and meaningful work.

I’m writing because we need people to interview. We are looking for people that have an undeniable love for their work, that get paid for something they would do for free, and that have an infectious enthusiasm for what they do.

If you know of anyone that would be a great interview, PLEASE help us out by referring some people our way!

You can either comment below with your story or the person you are referring. Or if you don’t want to publicly tell your story on a comment page, submit a story by clicking on the link at left. Thanks!

Got you one in New York. They want to know when you have openings.

Awesome. New York is pretty open since it three months away, but for the sake of throwing a date and time out there, how about September 13th, 9am, 11 am, or 3pm.

Hey Brett

I REALLY want you to interview my friend and associate Court Gettel (see both of his websites below).

He is a true success story. He owns and operates these companies, based in Tucson, and started them both at a young age. He is extra-ordinary in every sense of the word. It would be worth a trip to Tucson or ask him to meet you in PHX as he has an office there and travels up there pretty regularly. You should get to know him, he is one of those rare people who truly changes people lives.

Brett:

One of the most dynamic and successful people I know is Charles Somers. He has built his janitorial service company into one of the largest in the United States. His office is on the old Air Force base in Sacramento. He helped me when I had Santa Rosa Paper Company as a client and as an investor. I think you should definitely interview him. He is driven and passionate about what he does. He also has a good story to tell as he has built his business from scratch up to over 40,000 employees.

Barbara Russell said she’d love to be interviewed. She’s out of town until after you guys leave, so I’ll do the interview and send you a write-up.
