We are NOT about Beer Money

Over the past week I have sent out over 300 personal emails to friends, family, and business contacts. Most people admire what we are doing, some applaud our efforts, there are a few people who are jealous, but then there are the skeptics that think we are out to have a good time and sample beers from all fifty states. This post is for the skeptics.
Now I know I don’t have to prove anything to anyone, or take the time to reassure because actions speak louder than words. But you know what, here are a few words:
I believe in what we are doing like the Golden State Warrior fans believe their team is going to win the championship. I know that the conversations we have on the tour will translate into effective postings on this site to help its visitors. But there are still skeptics that think that because we are a few recent college grads on a roadtrip, that we are just going to drink beer and party.
Here’s a few signs I’m serious about Pursue the Passion, and our mission.
1) I left a secure corporate job paying me well with all the benefits I could want. I left because I knew there was something more out there.
2) I work more hours now with developing Pursue the Passion than I did in the grind of Corporate America.
3) I’ve put in a considerable amount of money into the idea, from web development to the last tour to this tour- all because I know that one day our efforts will pay off.
So when people say that we are out to drink beer and party, I just tell them to sit back, watch, and learn what a few scrappy college grads are capable of.
